Serving Notice & Refund Policy

Planning to move out? Give at least 15 days' notice. Here is exactly how notice, final settlement and refunds work.

Key rules

Rule 1
Mandatory notice
Residents must give at least 15 days' advance notice before their intended vacating date.
Rule 2
Refund eligibility
Residents who give at least 15 days' advance notice may be eligible for a refund. Residents who give less than 15 days' notice are not eligible for a refund under this policy.
Rule 3
Eligibility is not a guarantee
Eligibility does not guarantee a refund.
Rule 4
Dues before final settlement
Pending rent, electricity charges, damage costs and any other applicable dues must be settled before final settlement.
Rule 5
Refunds within 24 hours
Eligible refunds are processed within 24 hours after room inspection, key handover and final settlement of outstanding dues are all complete.

Counting notice days

Notice days are calendar days, counted from the day after you give notice up to and including your vacating date (India Standard Time).

Example

Notice given on 1 October for a vacating date of 16 October = 15 days — meets the minimum.

Notice given on 1 October for 15 October = 14 days — less than the minimum, so not eligible for a refund.

Check how many days' notice a vacating date gives. This only calculates — it does not submit a notice.
